UNT Department of Physics
Procedure to obtain a Degree Plan
for any of the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Arts in Physics
- Bachelor of Science in Physics
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics
An official degree plan provides you with a comprehensive list of requirements
that remain
for you to graduate with a chosen degree. The procedure for having a degree
plan prepared is
listed below.
- Go to the registrar’s
office and purchase an unofficial transcript, one per school attended.
- Pick up an advisory
sheet for your degree. (Advisory sheets are posted at PHYS 110.)
- Put a small checkmark
in each box [ ] for which a course or its equivalent has been taken.
- If a transfer course
is to be substituted for a UNT course, underline the UNT course and neatly
print the course abbreviation and number, and the abbreviated name of the
school where the course was taken next to the underlined UNT course.
- With a highlighter,
indicate on the unofficial transcript(s) each course for which a checkmark
appears. Do not highlight courses that are to count as electives.
- Ask the physics undergraduate
advisor to sign and date the advisory sheet.
- Submit the advisory
sheet as well as the unofficial transcript(s) to Jessica Raidon, CAS Advising
Office, GAB 220.
