| PHYS 1060 | Stars and the Universe | Stellar
Astronomy, Techniques of astronomical measurement; developments related to
evolution and systematics of the stars. Properties of stars and
stellar systems and a study of the origin, evolution and future of the
universe.
May be used to satisfy a portion of the Physical Sciences requirement of the University Core Curriculum. Prerequisites: proficiency in algebra. Students must also enroll separately in the PHYS 1061 Stellar Systems Observations Laboratory to fulfill the Natural Sciences requirement of the University Core Curriculum. | ||
